Direct interaction between government and the people has to be minimal if we are to bring down corruption. Going cashless is the first step in this direction said Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar while speaking at the BJP Mahila Melava in Panaji.

Stating that the government has taken the challenge of using digital money in Goa head on Parrikar appealed to the people of Goa to help in the going cashless effort by avoiding the use of cash in their day today activities.

Stating that the efforts to take Goa towards cashless society have already begun Parrikar added that special drives will be held in the market from coming week to make people savvy with cashless transactions.

Even fish buying is possible through mobile Parrikar opined.
