The workers of Western India Shipyard Limited in their public meeting which was organised at Sada threatened the government of going against BJP government this assembly elections if their payment issue is not solved with their company.

Sebey Pereira, the General Secretary of the union said that, “the local MLA and Power Minister Milind Naik is fooling people that he has solved our issue but there has been no efforts from his side.”

It may be recalled that their four months salary was paid and the company is yet to pay five months salary. It is likely to sell its property. Workers have threatened that they will go with any party in any constituency to canvass against BJP government if their matter is not sorted out before code of conduct. Union leader Ajit Sing Rane and other union leaders were also present for this public meeting.
