Digital Goa, Sept 26 – Goa govt has finalised 10 lakh sqr mtr of land at Sanguem for setting up IIT and official announcement regarding setting up of the premier institute at the new site will be mad by CM Pramod Sawant this month, informed Minister and Sanguem MLA Subhash Phal Dessai. He said that earlier identified land at Sanguem was rejected by the Center stating that the land was insufficient and significant portion of the land was no-development slope. “It is not because people have objected. The IIT site selection committee has rejected because it was not sufficient,” asserted Phal Dessai.
