Digital Goa, Aug 17 – Eleven girl students of Higher Secondary School in Bicholim took ill after pepper spray was used in the classroom by some students. 11 students were referred to the Health Centre as they complained of suffocation. Six students were sent home after first aid while remaining five students were referred to the North Goa District Hospital, Mapusa for further treatment. Three of them are stable and will be discharged while two will be kept under observation for some more time. Police have identified four students for using the pepper spray intentionally to harass girl students. They have also written to the school administration to take strict action against the erring students. As per reports, similar incident happened two days back in the same school.
