Digital Goa, Dec 31- A large police force of over 1,500 police personnel has been deployed in the touristic beach belt of North Goa to keep a check on traffic rules violations while the state ushers in new Year 2024. Police personnel are equipped with 80 alcometers to monitor drunken driving. 300 additional police have been deployed in Calangute –Candolim beach belt along with Tourist Police force.
