July 15 to Aug 7 – The 18 day long monsoon session of the State Legislative Assembly which commenced on July 15 concluded today. The session was in progress for 135 hours 46 minutes. Total of 2926 Legislative Assembly Questions(LAQ) -796 starred and 2130 unstarred came before the house and were given written answers. Of these 90 starred questions were discussed on the floor of the house. 3 starred and 4 unstarred questions have been postponed for the next session. 560 papers,144 zero hours mentions and 36 calling attentions came before the house. Budget 2024-25 was discussed in the session and demands of various departments were passed. Total of 3869 students and 385 teaching and non-teaching staff witnessed the session.
