Digital Goa, June 16 – CM Pramod Sawant said around two lakh people are expected to participate in International Day of Yoga celebrations on June 21 at over 1,000 locations across Goa. Government employees, teachers and students have been asked to mandatorily attend sessions in their vicinity and upload photographs, while online certificates will be issued to participants. CM also urged people to join a Guinness World Record attempt for the largest simultaneous online yoga session being organised by the Ministry of Ayush. The global theme for Yoga Day 2026 is “Yoga for Healthy Ageing.”
