Digital Goa, Mar 7- Goa govt has declared 24.10 Ha land (2,41,000 sq mtr) at Uguem as reserved forest. The forest area surveyed under Survey number 39/1(P) of Uguem Village of Sanguem Taluka was handed over to the Forest Department by 2 mining lease holders for compensatory afforestation in lieu of the forest area diverted for the mining purpose. The area is having a gradual slope and covered with natural forest.
