Digital Goa, Nov 9 – As on date 4,000 delegates from India and abroad have registered for 54th IFFI, we are expecting 25,000 registration this year informed Union MoS for Information and Broadcasting L Murugan. MoS who is in Goa to review the preparations for IFFI met CM Pramod Sawant today. Film Industry is taking the ownership of the festival and participating in it wholeheartedly, he said adding that this is helping make the festival better with every passing year. Murugan said he was satisfied with the preparations that are underway in Goa. He confirmed the presence of Oscar Award winning American actor and filmmaker Michael Douglass for the festival. Douglas has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award and will be present at the fesival to receive the honour. However, Murugan did not confirm the presence of Salman Khan for the inaugural. The 54th IFFI will be held in Goa from Nov 20 to Nov 28.
