Digital Goa, Dec 12 – A 28-year-old resident of Peddem, Mapusa, Bharat Damodar Halki, died in a road accident early Friday morning after his scooter crashed into the open rear door of a car that had been negligently parked on a one-way road. The incident occurred at around 5:30 am at Dattawadi, Mapusa. Police have booked car driver Suharsh Bhartu (38). Halki, riding a two-wheeler, collided with the open door, fell onto the road, and sustained severe injuries. Halki was rushed to the District Hospital, Mapusa, where he succumbed to his injuries.
