Digital Goa, Nov 12 – Anjuna Police have arrested three staffers of a restaurant at De Mello Vaddo, Anjuna for allegedly assaulting a Guirim resident and his friend at Vagator helipad in North Goa. The accused have been identified as habitual offender from Bengaluru S Mousheel (24) from Bengaluru, Saurav Koranga (24) from Uttarakhand, and Dharam Upreti (18) from Mumbai. According to the complaint filed by Rohan Palyekar (29) of Guirim, he and his friend Shubham were brutally attacked with glass bottles, stones, kicks and blows after they questioned the accused for passing sexually coloured remarks at a woman accompanying them. The incident occurred on November 11 around 6 am. The accused also allegedly snatched Shubham’s gold chain worth ₹1.3 lakh and damaged their car, causing losses of about ₹20,000.
