30 rescued, including foreigners, along Goa’s beaches over new year

Jan 2- Lifesavers posted on beaches rescued 30 people from drowning during the New Year celebrations along Goa’s coast, including several foreigners. Among them were visitors from Russia, England, and Kyrgyzstan. The Drishti Marine Lifesavers also reunited 18 missing persons, including 17 children, with their families and administered first aid to 11 beachgoers. The rescues occurred across popular beaches like Palolem, Mandrem, and Calangute, Agonda, Colva, Baga, Arambol, Majorda, Vagator etc.
