Digital Goa, Feb 11- State TCP Dept has permitted ‘correction’ of 47,528 sq mtr more land comprising of paddy fields, orchards etc into settlement zone in Regional Plan 2021 using provisions of sub-section (2) of Section 17 of the Goa Town and Country Planning Act. Plot of land admeasuring an area of 4198 sq mtr, surveyed under Survey No. 346, sub-division No. 1, 2,3 and 4 of Village Calapur, Tiswadi which is earmarked as Paddy Field with Irrigation Command Area, plot of land admeasuring an area of 1075 sq mtr, surveyed under Survey No. 86, sub-division No. 3 & 3-A, of Village Marra, Bardez which is earmarked as Orchard Zone , plot of land admeasuring an area of 2625 sq mtr, surveyed under Survey No. 5, sub-division No. 1, of Village Guirim, Bardez earmarked as Paddy Field with CADA , plot of land admeasuring an area of 8775 sq mtr, surveyed under Survey No. 5, sub-division No. 2 of Village Guirim, Bardez Taluka, District North Goa, State of Goa which is earmarked as Paddy Field with CADA , plot of land admeasuring an area of 7700 sq mtr, surveyed under Survey No. 48, sub-division No. 10, of Village Deussua, Salcete which is earmarked as Paddy Field as per RPG-2021 have been corrected as Settlement Zone. In addition, plot of land admeasuring an area of 15830 sq mtr & 16100 sq mtr, surveyed under Survey No. 442, sub-division No. 1-C & 1-D, respectively, of Village Latambarcem, Bicholim which is earmarked as Orchard Zone as per RPG-2021 is hereby corrected as Settlement Zone & deletion of proposed 10 mts road.
