Digital Goa, Aug 25 – Nearly 580 forest frontline staff, marine rescuers, Drishti Life Guards and Beach Safety Patrol Team will be trained in Marine and Coastal Wildlife Stranding- First Response and Handling Protocols of Turtles, Dolphins, Porpoise, Birds, Snakes’ etc. The two week capacity building program will be held by Goa Forest Department in association DRISHTI Lifeguards and expert NGO Terra Conscious & Chameleon. The training is expected to aid the staff and volunteers to effectively handle marine wildlife stranding cases along the 105 kms long coast line of State.
