Digital Goa, Sept 18 – Panaji police have registered a case of attempt to murder and criminal conspiracy against six unidentified accused for brutally assaulting activist Rama Kankonkar near Sateri Restaurant in Caranzalem, Panaji. According to the complaint, the accused persons allegedly hatched a criminal conspiracy and, acting with a common intention, wrongfully confined the victim, Rama Kankonkar. They then assaulted him with deadly weapons and threatened to kill him, thereby attempting to commit murder. The accused also allegedly threatened the complainant with dire consequences by brandishing a knife. The complaint was filed by Soiru Velip from Quepem, who was accompanying Kankonkar at the time of the assault.
