Digital Goa, Sept 5 – An elderly woman from Malkarnem, Quepem, lost her life after sustaining severe burn injuries when her saree accidentally caught fire while she was lighting an oil lamp at her home. The deceased has been identified as Usha Prabhu Malkarnekar (65). She was undergoing treatment at GMC Bambolim, where she succumbed to her injuries.
