Digital Goa, Sept 25 – The Goa government has announced the rollout of a Special Allowance for childcare under the 7th Pay Commission for women employees with disabilities, effective July 1, 2025. Women with at least 40% disability will receive ₹3,000 per month for each child up to two years old, applicable for a maximum of two eldest surviving children. The allowance will automatically increase by 25% whenever the DA rises by 50% under the revised pay structure. This is in accordance with notification issued in this regards by Union Govt in 2017. Goa govt has announced of adopting the notification from July 1,2025.
