Digital Goa, Nov 3 – Lifesavers rescued 8 people from drowning at Goa’s beaches and 2 from Dudhsagar waterfalls over the weekend. Rescues were reported at Baga, Calangute, Candolim, Morjim, Agonda, Dudhsagar and Arambol, involving tourists from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Hubli, Haryana, Bihar, Pune, Bengaluru and Gujarat who were caught in rip currents. Two persons from Andhra were rescued from Doodhsagar waterfall. All rescued persons were brought to safety, and first aid was provided where required
