Digital Goa, Sept 8 – Goa govt will give 80% of the camp money and 50 % of the equipment money to the Sports Associations today, informed CM Pramod Sawant. The money has already been deposited with Sports Authority of Goa, he added. Several sports organisations had announced boycott of the Mashaal(torch) launch ceremony of the 37th National Games to be held today evening over nonpayment of camp money dues. Stating that there was no need to boycott over minor delays in payment, Sawant added, “We need to verify before giving money.”
