Dec 31- Anti Narcotics Cell of Goa police seized 85 kgs narcotics valued at Rs 6.75 crores. This is the highest seizure in a calendar year, informed police. In the 159 drug related cases 188 persons were booked. Of these 54 were Goans, 23 were foreigners and 111 were Non Goans. First case in India of DMT seizure was done by Goa Police by seizing the ‘spiritual’ drug worth Rs 14 lakhs. First case of GHB (Gamma-hydroxybutyrate) a date rape seizure was also recorded in Goa this year with GHB worth Rs 12 lakhs seized.
