875 houses generating solar power using govt subsidy says Dhavlikar

Aug 1 – State has so far generated 46.20 MW solar power through solar panels installed using rooftop solar subsidy, informed Power Minister Sudin Dhavlikar. He said 875 houses have benefited from the solar panel subsidy. So far Rs 7.06 crore worth subsidy has been disbursed, he said. He informed that floating solar panels have also been installed at 4 water bodies. Dhavlikar was speaking on Power Dept demands in the state legislative assembly. Rs 15 crore subsidy has been given to EV vehicles, he added. Dhavlikar informed that the state has 2347 electric vehicles.
