Digital Goa, Feb 27 – Handicraft outlet selling items made by around 98 inmates of Colvale jail was inaugurated by DGP Jaspal Singh today. Branded as CJ(Colvale Jail), the items have been prepared through the skill development initiative has been initiated by Inspector General Of Prisons (IGP) Omvir Singh Bishnoi. A bakery unit as well as a masala making unit for female inmates are in pipeline, informed IGP. He further informed that the inmates have also been deployed in jail beautification projects including whitewashing of the jail walls.
