Jan 17- Calangute police have booked a person from Tuem for impersonating as FDA official and demanding extortion money from food business operators in Calangute. The accused is identified as Soiroo alias Sarvesh Naik Tuenkar from Tuem. A complaint was filed against him by FDA director Shweta Dessai. Incidentally, FDA Minister Vishwajeet Rane had also issued an alert in this regards earlier this month.
