Jan 21- Union minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurated and laid foundation stone for projects worth Rs 4,200 crore in Goa today. He launched the Rs 645 crore worth 8 Km long flyover cum cable stayed ROB for port connectivity from Ravindra Bhavan to MPA Gate-9. This is slated to be the first cable-stayed bridge built on a curve and has a unique curvature radius of 180 degrees. He also laid the foundation stone for 5 projects including flyover from MES college junction to Bogmalo junction and VUP at Queeny junction (Rs 472 crore), 4-Laning from end of Zuari approaches to start of Margao bypass (Rs 398 Crore), 4-Laning from Navelim to Cuncolim (Rs 747 Crore), 4-Laning from Bendordem to Pollem (Rs 1376 crore), 4-Laning from Ponda to Bhoma which is part of Hyderabad Goa corridor (Rs 557 crore) .
