Jan 30 – A 40-year-old person was attacked and injured by Rottweiler dog who was allegedly kept unleashed by the owner at Badem, Assagao. The victim Vinil Salgaonkar from Badem, Assagao was attacked by the dog yesterday around 10.15 pm. The owner of the dog Sham Govekar has been booked by police for unleashing the dog without taking necessary precautions against the probable danger to human life. Offense registered under Section 291 BNS (Negligent conduct with respect to animal).
