Jan 30- Goa govt has proposed hike in fees for issuance of identification and corresponding certificates required for mutation and partition of land under Goa Land Revenue Code. The fees are proposed to be charged as follows – (i) For an area admeasuring 2,500 sq mts or for one holding irrespective of area – Rs 2,500 (ii) For every additional area admeasuring 500 sq mts or part thereof – Rs 1,000.” Draft notification amending Goa Land Revenue (Issuance of Identification and Corresponding Certificate) (Amendment) Rules, 2025 to this effect has been issued. In addition, the amendment also proposes that such fees shall not be applicable to the Govt Departments. Revenue dept has sought feedback from public on the amendments within 15 days.
