Feb 25- State Electricity Department has recommenced its drive of clearing electric poles of cables from the heart of the capital city, near Azad Maidan area in Panaji. By afternoon cable TV and internet cables on 15 to 20 electric poles were cut by the department. Broadband services in the area are badly affected due to the drive. Department officials informed that the drive will continue unabated in Panaji as well as across the state. The drive recommenced today as the High Court refused to grant interim relief to internet service providers before hearing their case in court. The matter has been fixed for next hearing on March 18.
