Digital Goa, Feb 27 – Margao Municipal Council has decided to hike various fees from the new financial year 2025-26. There will be hike of 10 percent in trade licence, income certificates and other fees. Though House Tax is not hiked, defaulters will be charged 12 percent interest on the pending amount. Speaking to media, Margao Chairperson Damodar Shirodkar justified the hike in fees saying that these fees were unchanged for over 7-8 years.
