Digital Goa, May 24 – Perturbed over inaction by the authorities regarding their demand of action on wholesale and roadside fish sellers, the retail fish vendors from Vasco resorted to a novel method of protest today. They started sale of fish right in front of Mormugao Municipality building. Stating that their businesses are badly affected, they said they would continue selling fish in front of MMC till such time that concrete action is taken by the authorities on wholesale and roadside sale of fish. However, following assurance of action by police, the vendors withdrew their protest.
