Digital Goa, Apr 3- South Goa Sessions Court has sentenced 48-year-old Jharkhand native Vivek Dev Singh to rigorous life imprisonment for the 2020 murder of 30-year-old Mukesh Singh.Vivek Dev was arrested by Maina Curtorim Police for assaulting Mukesh with an axe in a rented room at Colleadongor, Raia, causing fatal head injuries. The court also imposed a fine of Rs one lakh, with a default penalty of three years’ additional imprisonment. If paid, Rs 75,000 will be given as compensation to the victim’s family, states the Court order.
