Digital Goa, Apr 9 – The Tuem Hospital Action Committee has opposed the proposal to set up a Community Health Centre (CHC) at the new Tuem Hospital. The committee has instead demanded the establishment of a 100-bed full-fledged hospital linked to Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim. They argue that a CHC would be inadequate to meet the healthcare needs of the region and stress the importance of specialized services through GMC affiliation.
