Digital Goa, April 29- The leopard rescued from a house at Villian village in Sanguem died in the wee hours today while undergoing treatment at Bondla Zoo. Reacting to the incident Forest Minister Vishwajit Rane said that he has sent a note to DG Forest to initiate action against Deputy Conservator of Forests Navin Kumar for alleged dereliction of duty. Rane also stressed on the need for stricter measures, including speed limits on roads passing through sanctuaries. A black panther had died allegedly after being hit by vehicle at Konem, Priol, Ponda few days back.
