Digital Goa , May 14- Gulshan Tikre, a 34-year-old man from Jharkhand, has been found guilty of murdering his wife Basanti in a case that dates back to November 2021. Goa court delivered the verdict today and is scheduled to announce the sentence tomorrow.
Tikre was arrested for fatally stabbing his 20-year-old wife at their rented home in São José de Areal, Salcete. The couple had been living in Goa with their three-year-old child at the time.
According to police reports, the murder occurred during a heated domestic dispute. Tikre allegedly stabbed Basanti in the stomach with a sharp object, leading to her death shortly after.
