Digital Goa, June 18 – BJP State President Damu Naik on Wednesday said that the decision to drop Minister Govind Gaude from the Goa Cabinet was a unanimous one taken by both the State and Central leadership of the party. He added that several important decisions are in pipeline in the coming days keeping in mind the growth of the party. Govind Gaude on his part claimed he was unaware of the move of ousting him. Meanwhile, official notification issued by the General Administration Department on June 18, 2025, states: “The Governor of Goa is pleased to accept the recommendation of the Chief Minister of Goa, that Shri Govind Gaude shall cease to be the Member of the Council of Ministers headed by the Chief Minister, with immediate effect.”
