Digital Goa, June 19 – International Yoga Day will be celebrated at over 10,000 places across Goa on June 21 with events being organised in schools, colleges, government offices, police stations, and panchayats in every village. The theme for this year is “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.” The main state-level event will be held from 6 am to 8:30 am at Taleigao Stadium. Organisers have been asked to register their events on the ‘Yoga Sangam’ website on Ayush Ministry portal https://yoga.ayush.gov.in. General Administration Department(GAD) has already directed all govt employees to compulsorily participate in Yoga sessions, either within their respective office premises or at any other institutions such as schools, colleges, panchayats, municipalities etc. in their vicinity where such sessions are organized.

Education Dept has also issued a circular directing all heads of government, aided, unaided, primary, secondary, higher secondary, and special schools to register their yoga day events on the Ministry of Ayush portal in the Yoga Sangam module.
