Digital Goa, June 19- A man identified as Babush Gaonkar (45) from Panchwadi, Ponda, succumbed to injuries after being hit by a rashly driven bus near the Herald office at IDC Verna on June 17. According to police, the accused bus driver, Francisco Pedro Fernandes of Majorda, hit Gaonkar while he was replacing a punctured tyre on his car, causing serious injuries. Gaonkar passed away during treatment at GMC Bambolim on June 19.
