Digital Goa, July 18 – Crime Branch arrested a 21-year-old Cameroonian national, Nambong Fred Karl, for illegal possession of narcotic substances worth over ₹15.25 lakh during a raid at Dando, Siolim, Bardez. Acting under Operation Flushout, the raid was conducted on July 17 at a rented premises, where the accused was found with 13.17 grams of suspected ecstasy tablets and 61.78 grams of suspected cocaine. The accused was arrested early morning on July 18 and produced before the JMFC in Mapusa. Police have secured four days’ remand. The Cameroon consulate was informed through the FRRO, and all Supreme Court guidelines were followed during the arrest.
