Digital Goa, July 25 – In view of the monsoon and rising drowning incidents, North Goa collector has yet again issued an order imposing a 30-day ban on swimming, bathing, or entering natural water bodies such as waterfalls, rivers, ponds, lakes, and abandoned quarries across North Goa. Issued under Section 163 of the BNSS, the order is aimed at preventing loss of life due to unpredictable currents, slippery terrain, and sudden water level rises. Police and Mamlatdars have been directed to strictly enforce the ban.
