Digital Goa, August 10 – Police have arrested two Maharashtra natives, Abbas Aslam Jaidi (34) and Sharif Shaha Samsher Shaha (35), in connection with a December 2024 chain-snatching at Bhamai Pale, where gold jewellery worth ₹2.2 lakh was stolen from a woman. The accused, earlier held by Old Goa Police, were taken on transfer warrant, and during interrogation admitted selling the stolen mangalsutra in Pune. A police team later recovered it from Shivaji Nagar, Pune.
