Digital Goa, Sept 12 – A 44-year-old Verla, Canca resident died following an accident on the Zuari bridge on Sept 10. The victim, Mohammad Shakil, succumbed to injuries at GMC Hospital. The truck, driven by Hanamant Kutakanakeri of Karnataka, hit him while he was walking near his parked scooter on the bridge lane. The driver was arrested the same day and later released on bail.
