Digital Goa, September 18 – CM Pramod Sawant inaugurated Parul University Goa, the state’s first private university, at a function held at Kala Academy, Panaji. Sawant also announced that approvals have been granted for two more private universities. He added that the government is open to international universities setting up campuses in the state. Currently, the university has 509 students across 13 programs, with 75% being Goans, and 70% of the staff are local, CM informed.
