ED issues attachment notices for 15 properties across Goa under PMLA

Digital Goa, Sept 22 – Enforcement Directorate (ED), Panaji Zonal Office, has taken possession of 15 immovable properties across Goa under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002, following confirmation of provisional attachment orders by the Adjudicating Authority. According to notice issued on September 19, 2025, the attached properties include land and houses in Anjuna, Assagao, Parra, Nerul, Calangute, Verna, and a flat in Margao. In a separate case, the ED has also taken possession of a bungalow in Taleigao, valued at over ₹51 lakh. Further, two properties in Verna, Salcete have also been seized. The value of the attached share in these properties is estimated at over ₹36 lakh. The ED has directed that all such properties remain intact and not be transferred, mortgaged, or disposed of in any manner without prior approval. Occupants, if any, have been asked to vacate within 10 days and hand over possession. Any lease or rent from these assets is to be deposited with the Directorate of Enforcement, Panaji. The assets are to remain under the disposal of the Enforcement Directorate until further proceedings under the Act.
