Digital Goa, Oct 2 – Goa will receive ₹392 crore as an advance instalment of tax devolution from the Centre. In view of the upcoming festive season, the Union Government has released ₹1,01,603 crore to state governments across India as an advance instalment of tax devolution. CM Pramod Sawant said the funds will help Goa strengthen its ability to accelerate capital expenditure and implement various developmental and welfare schemes across the state. He added that the funds will be utilised for people-centric initiatives and infrastructure improvement.
