Digital Goa, October 3 – Panaji: The Goa government has removed the requirement of a ‘Samaj’ certificate for individuals seeking a caste certificate. Until now, a Samaj certificate issued by the respective OBC community associations was mandatory when applying for a caste certificate through the GoaOnline portal. A notification issued on September 30 states that the change comes into immediate effect.
