Digital Goa, October, 7 – Goa’s Social Welfare Minister, Subhash Phaldesai, stated that while 35,000 persons with disabilities (PwDs) have been officially identified in the state, the actual number is likely closer to 80,000. He announced that a comprehensive survey will be conducted through government officers to determine the accurate figures and ensure better planning and delivery of services for PwDs.
