Digital Goa, Nov 25 – RGP president Manoj Parab on Tuesday said that any decision on alliance seat-sharing for the upcoming Zilla Panchayat polls can be taken only after the High Court delivers its order on seat reservations. Parab also expressed reservations about one of the proposed formulas—10 seats each for RGP and GFP and 30 for the Congress—stating that while it may appear “balanced on paper,” ground realities differ across constituencies. Candidate strength of each party must be considered before finalising any arrangement, he said. He added that there is strong pressure from the public for all opposition parties to unite, and that RGP is keeping this sentiment in mind during discussions.
