Digital Goa, Nov 26 – The Fisheries Department, along with the Coastal Police, around 10 several Maharashtra registered fishing trawlers for allegedly operating illegally in Goa’s territorial waters near Calangute. Around 5 trawlers, primarily from Karnataka were also seized over the last few months by the department. Fisheries Minister Nilkanth Halarnkar said the action will continue and strict action will be taken against the trawlers, as per law.
