Digital Goa, December 4 – Goa state Congress chief Amit Patkar said that discussions on forging an alliance with the Goa Forward Party and the Revolutionary Goans Party are still underway amid conflicting statements from alliance partners. He said the Congress will take a final call on the alliance and seat sharing today, adding that as the largest opposition party, it wants to form an alliance with the other parties. “We have declared 11 candidates in the first phase, where there were no discussions with the alliance partners. Some parties have already announced their candidates, but we are still hopeful of forming an alliance,” he added.
