Digital Goa, Jan 2 – The anticipated pace of growth in Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue collection did not materialise in December, conceded CM Pramod Sawant. “The speed with which GST revenue collections were expected to grow in the month of December, that has not happened. Some little bit effect is there,” Sawant said. He was speaking after chairing a review meeting on budget assurances and implementation of the 2025–26 budget.
54 % budget utilised till Nov 2025
CM informed that 54 % of the budget has been utilised till November 2025, and the government expects around 95 % utilisation by March 31, 2026 as most projects are on track. Sawant also assessed the progress of key infrastructure projects worth ₹512.91 crore, funded under the Center’s Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment.
