Digital Goa, Jan 20 – Canacona Police arrested a 29-year-old man during a narcotics raid near a mosque at Colomb, Canacona, for illegal possession of suspected charas. The accused, identified as Deepu Singh residing at Palolem and native of Agra, UP, was caught with 431 grams of a blackish sticky substance suspected to be charas, valued at around ₹4.31 lakh. He was arrested on Jan 19 and remanded to three days police custody by JMFC Canacona.
